James Falletti is an award-winning science educator and accomplished photographer based in New Jersey, celebrated for seamlessly integrating space and environmental education into his curriculum. His innovative teaching earned him the prestigious Cherri Brinley Outstanding Educator Award at the 27th annual Space Exploration Educators Conference (SEEC) and the Patricia F. Kane Environmental Educator Award from NJ Audubon in 2021.

As a global educator, James has taught Science and STEAM classes both in person and virtually across the United States and internationally. He has also developed educational programs focused on sustainability as part of Eco-Schools USA, a National Wildlife Federation initiative. A Google Certified Educator and a Space Foundation Dr. Rochelle Abrams Space Across the Curriculum Teacher, James brings expertise and creativity to every classroom. He is a member of the Space Exploration Educator Crew, a NASA JPL Solar System Ambassador, and a National Geographic Certified Educator.

In addition to his work in education, James serves as a field trip coordinator for the Bergen County Audubon Society (BCAS) and is deeply committed to connecting people with nature. For over 15 years, he has blended his passion for environmental education and photography, using his Nikon D500 and Nikon D750 cameras to capture stunning images that tell stories of sustainability, conservation, and the beauty of our world.

Whether teaching in the classroom, exploring the outdoors, or traveling the globe, James’s mission is clear: to inspire curiosity, foster stewardship, and build a deeper connection to the natural world through education and art.
