Every dollar made at the Civitan Flea Market, from the sale of the rental spaces to vendors and the monies made from the sale of refreshments, goes to support the causes espoused by Civitan, a 501c3, which focus on helping people with developmental disabilities. these include SPARC, Endependence Center of Northern Virginia, Community Services, Inc, ARC and Lift Me Up.You’ll find over one hundred vendors selling a variety of goods ranging from books, clothes, furniture, garden tools, household goods, jewelry, shoes, toys, records, and so much more. Spread out over 4 levels of a 20,000 square foot parking garage, the flea market was originally conceived as a way for local people to sell goods in a central location. Community members may rent a 9’ by 18” space for $20 to sell used household items. If you are a prospective vendor, please read all the guidelines at the web site listed below. More details at :https://arlington-fleamarket.com/https://www.facebook.com/ArlCivitanfleamarket/Contact: civitanmarket@gmail.com

McLean School-Falls Road Campus (Lower School)

McLean Sees Gifts. Help Your Child Discover Their Strengths These are formative years, a time when attitudes about school and self begin to take shape. We prioritize hands-on and engaged instruction within small groups where learning celebrates the strengths of each student, while embedding academic support where needed. McLean’s program ensures academic achievement while building a strong understanding of self-advocacy.
Our small classes and Abilities Model® prepare bright students K-12 including those with dyslexia, anxiety, attention, and executive functioning challenges for success in college and in life.
At a Lower School Open House, you'll learn about our transformative approach to education from our Head of School and then attend an Information Session. You’ll enjoy a guided tour of our Falls Road Campus, along with meaningful opportunities to connect with faculty, parents, and current students.

If you are concerned about your child’s reading ability, McLean School is pleased to offer an upcoming complimentary Acadience Reading Screening.
Extensive evidence shows that struggling readers who do not receive early intervention fall behind academically and it is harder for them to catch up in later grades.
This complimentary 30-minute session will provide actionable data using the Acadience Reading Screening, one of three universal reading screeners in the United States proven to reliably identify students who need immediate reading intervention.
