Shawna Arnold, Neighbor

Shawna is a tried-and-true Rhode Islander. She grew up right on Main Street in Wickford and lived there for 24 years until moving to East Greenwich. She graduated from NKHS in 2004 and from the University of Rhode Island in 2008. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Sociology. She was a sister of Chi Omega, a national sorority, and a member of the Order of Omega National Honor Society.

Shawna currently works full-time for an Internet marketing company in Warwick, freelancing on the side to keep a toe in the journalism waters. She loves to write - she has gained internet copywriting experience through her current occupation and newspaper reporting experience through various freelance projects.
