Shawna, Neighbor

Shawna is a licensed acupuncturist at Rose Wellness Center for Integrative Medicine in Oakton, Virginia. She can confidently treat a variety of conditions or, if necessary, will refer out. However she specializes in pain management utilizing any and all Chinese medical techniques (acupuncture, cupping, moxabustion, electrical stimulation and non-needle techniques) as well as aromatherapy for effective pain relief.

Shawna takes great care in making sure that her patients are comfortable with the treatment plan. She will outline a custom tailored treatment strategy including estimated number of visits, specific exercise or stretching techniques, Chinese dietary therapy including a recipe and stress relief practices. Shawna encourages patients to take action in their healing process as this is a key component toward faster recovery.

Shawna is licensed by the Virginia department of health and certified by the National Coalition of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
