Great Hill United Methodist Church

Great Hill United Methodist Church, Seymour, will sponsor their annual Basket Bonanza on Saturday, October 10. For the admission price of $20.00, patrons will receive 25 free basket tickets, a door prize ticket, and a grand prize ticket.


Over 75 special theme baskets and door prizes will be handed out. Basket themes include movie, travel, spa, handyman, entertaining, sports, kids, baby, pets, hobbies, cooking, seasonal, and many others. This year's Grand Prize Basket will include a wide variety of gift cards with an estimated $850 value.
This year's event will have daytime preview hours from 10 am to 4 pm, as well as an evening hour from 5 to 6 pm in the Fellowship Hall. During the preview, tickets are placed in the cup corresponding with any of the baskets; the baskets are given away starting at 6 p.m. The drawing will be live-streamed in front of an in-person audience and results posted to the church Facebook page and website.
Basket pickup times will be on Saturday night from 7:30 to 8:30 pm and Sunday 12 to 1 pm.
The public is invited to this event. Reservations are not required. The church is located at the junction of Rts. 188 and 334, Seymour, CT.
