Wilton High School Model Congress creates an opportunity for WHS students to simulate the United States Congress. Club members practice and enhance their civic and collaborative skills weekly. Each week, students write and introduce legislation (e.g. capital punishment, health care, anti-terrorism, euthanasia, etc.). Each meeting is chaired by a club member. WHS students can join the club at any time.

For the past several years, Wilton Model Congress students who actively participate have been awarded the opportunity to attend the Yale University, Harvard University, and/or Columbia University Model Congresses. Students who attend these collegiate model congresses demonstrate their mastery of debate and legislative skills.
