• Vermont school district merger committee groupings finalized (reformer.com) — Marlboro families are now part of a newly finalized Act 170 merger study group that will examine whether combining Marlboro and neighboring districts could change how local schools are governed. Committees must meet by Oct. 15, with recommendations due in 2027 and potential community votes on any proposed mergers in March 2028, giving residents several years to follow and influence the process.
