ANNANDALE, VA — A suspect in several burglaries at Annandale businesses was arrested after Fairfax County Police obtained arrest warrants.

Detectives have been investigating a string of commercial burglaries at largely minority-owned businesses in Fairfax County, including three in Annandale on Jan. 28. Kwasi Crichlow, 27, of Washington, D.C. is the suspect in three Jan. 28 burglaries in Annandale. Those burglaries happened in the early morning hours at Naz Food, Kogiya Korean BBQ and Han Gang Korean Restaurant. Since his arrest, an additional arrest warrant was obtained for a March 3 burglary at Ariake Restaurant in Annandale.

The arrest happened with assistance from law enforcement in other states. On March 4, officers determined Crichlow was entering Fairfax County in a white BMW SUV and attempted a traffic stop on Lorton Road at Interstate 95. When the driver refused to stop, a pursuit followed into Maryland. Crichlow evaded arrest and fled the DC region. Law enforcement located him on March 6 just outside Atlanta, Georgia. He is being held at the Fulton County Jail pending extradition.
