Annandale Parade

The Annandale Parade, first held in 1950,  will march from the United Methodist Church down Columbia Pike to the Bowling Alley on Saturday, October 22, 2011, ending at the Fall Festival grounds.

Come see the Seqways, the antique cars, firetrucks and  the Shriner's mini cars.  Listen to the music, see the costumed international dancers, high school bands and cheerleaders, see military vehicles, circus clowns, and the characters from Star Wars.   March in the parade, decorate a float, or view the procession, and then join the crowd at the Fall Festival (10 am to 5 pm) in front of Safeway on Little River Turnpike for food, games, rides, shopping, and entertainment. Vendor and volunteer forms are available at www.annandalechamber.com

Parade entry forms are available at www.annandalechamber.com and are due by October 5th.  A contest to determine the theme of the Parade is presently underway.  If you have an idea contact info@annandalechamber.com or add a comment on annandale.patch.com under Annandale Parade.
