Report: Pedestrian Struck Monday Night Crossing Columbia Pike
NBC-4 reports a man suffered life-threatening injuries after he was struck by a car crossing Columbia Pike in Annandale.

A man suffered life-threatening injuries Monday night after he was struck by a car as he crossed Columbia Pike in Annandale, according to a report by NBC-4.
The 52-year old man was reportedly not in a crosswalk, between John Marr Drive and Evergreen Lane, when he crossed the road, the TV station reported.
The TV station reports that the driver of the car stopped and was not charged.

Fairfax County Police sent out a notice on Twitter Monday night shortly after 8 p.m. that they were on the scene of a serious accident on Columbia Pike; they shut down the roadway in both directions as they investigated the scene.
Police were also busy farther down Columbia Pike with a domestic situation that closed roads Monday night in Annandale.
