1,200 EPA Personnel To Relocate From Crystal City To Downtown DC
The federal government is planning to move 1,200 EPA staffers out of Crystal City to the Clinton Building on Pennsylvania Avenue in D.C.

ARLINGTON, VA -- The Environmental Protection Agency may need a lot of cardboard boxes in the near future if the Trump Administration has its way. The administration is planning to relocate EPA from the property it leases at One Potomac Yard in Crystal City to the federally owned William Jefferson Clinton complex on Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington, D.C., according to news reports.
To make room for additional EPA personnel, the General Services Administration is asking for $48.7 million to renovate the Clinton building , according to a Fiscal Year 2021 congressional justification.
GSA plans to shift EPA staffers from the about 326,100 square feet of office space it leases at One Potomac Yard (2777 Crystal Drive) starting in March 2021, which is when EPA's current lease expires, reports the Washington Business Journal. This would boost occupancy in the Clinton Building by about 1,200.
