2 Sexual Battery Incidents Reported In Arlington County: Police

Arlington County Police are investigating two separate sexual battery incidents that occurred late last week.

ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County Police are investigating two separate incidents of sexual battery that occurred late last week.

In the first case, the victim reported the assault to police around 12:18 a.m. on Friday at ACPD's Court House station. She told police that she was at the Courthouse Metro Station, when a man came up from behind her, started a conversation, and then touched her buttocks. He then walked away.

Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect. Police described the suspect as a Black man in his 30s, standing 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-10 in height. He was wearing a dark-colored hoodie.

In the second case, officers responded around 8:30 p.m. on Saturday to Arlington Boulevard at N. Park Drive for the late report of an assault. Around 7:45 p.m., a man approached awoman who was in the Arlington Forest area and started a conversation. The man touched the woman inappropriately, which caused her to yell. At first, the man started to walk away, but he then grabbed the woman, who screamed and was able to break free and run away.

Police described the suspect as an Hispanic man in his 30s or 40s, who stood approximately 5-foot-6 and wore tan pants.
