2 Suspects Wanted In Arlington Strong Armed Robbery

ARLINGTON, VA — Police are investigating a strong armed robbery that occurred on Washington Boulevard Sunday morning.

At about 9:20 a.m., police responded to the 5800 block of Washington Blvd. for the report of a robbery. Officers determined than an employee was assaulted after confronting two male suspects attempting to steal merchandise, police said. The suspects then fled the scene with the stolen goods.

Police describe the first suspect as a 40-50 year old black male, approximately 6’2”, wearing a black t-shirt underneath a tan long-sleeve shirt and khaki pants. The second suspect is described as a 40-50 year old black male, approximately 5’8” with a heavy build. He was wearing a polo shirt, jean shorts and black and white sneakers.

The investigation is ongoing, police said.
