24-Hour Strike Begins at Reagan Airport
The strike had been planned for March 22, but was postponed due to the Brussels terror attacks.

The airport workers strike at Reagan National Airport is back on today after it was cancelled last week due to the Brussels terrorist attacks.
The nationwide strike calls for an increase in wages to a minimum of $15 an hour, plus sick leave and vacation.
The Service Employees International Union had originally planned to hold the strike on March 22, but the terrorist attacks in Belgium prompted the union to postpone it.

The strike, which the SEIU says will include 2,000 workers, is planned to last 24 hours at a number of major airports nationwide, including Reagan. The SEIU says in addition to wage increases, they hope to draw attention to intimidation and retaliation against unions.
Airport officials have said they don't expect the strike to cause any significant delays, and have a backup plan for handling customers with the workers striking.
