Prosecutors here had secured guilty pleas on two felony counts and a deferred adjudication, while D.C. investigators now link him to a May shooting death in Southeast.
5. Arlington Community High School gets permanent home at Amazon HQ2 after 96 years (wusa9.com) — Arlington Community High School now has a permanent, rent-free home inside Amazon's HQ2 in National Landing, giving about 300 nontraditional students access to modern classrooms, a library and career-focused spaces. The partnership with Arlington Public Schools also promises Amazon professionals on campus, internships and job-shadowing, which local leaders say could open new career paths for students balancing work and school.
