Arlington Bank Robbery Suspect Seen In Surveillance Footage: Police
Arlington County Police are seeking the public's help in identifying a man who is suspected of robbing a bank on Monday in Ballston.
ARLINGTON, VA — The Arlington County Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who is suspected of robbing a bank on Monday in the Ballston neighborhood.
The man, who was captured on surveillance footage, is described as a Black male, about 6-feet, 2-inches tall with a heavy build. He was wearing a black hoodie, dark pants, black hat and sunglasses at the time of the robbery, police said.
Around 2 p.m. on Monday, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery by force in the 900 block of N. Taylor Street. Upon arrival, it was determined the suspect entered a bank and passed a note to the teller demanding money and implying he had a weapon, police said. He then fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No weapon was seen or displayed at the bank, and no injuries were reported, police said.
ARLnow reported Monday that initial reports suggested the man robbed the Truist bank at 920 N. Taylor Street, a block from the Ballston Metro station.
