Arlington-Based AgentHero Surpasses 100 Agents

After three months in business, AgentHero – a national network of real estate agents, all of whom are veterans -- has attracted 100 agents.

After only three months in business, AgentHero – the carefully selected national network of professional real estate agents, all of whom are veterans or military spouses – already has attracted more than 100 agents operating in 26 states.

“We’ve been gratified to have so many professional real estate agents recognize the value in leveraging their military backgrounds to become affiliated with AgentHero,” says AgentHero Co-Founder and CEO Ken Robbins, himself a West Point graduate and U.S. Army Veteran.

Rather than representing a single national real estate brokerage, AgentHero agents come from different brokerages but are united in their experience on both sides of the home buying/selling transaction and in their dedication to providing the same level of honesty and integrity that was required of them while in uniform.

“The whole idea behind AgentHero is to guarantee consumers that they are not only getting a thoroughly vetted agent to represent them throughout their entire home buying or selling transaction, but also a veteran or military spouse who – because they likely have been required to frequently relocate their families themselves – know what it’s like to buy or sell a home,” explains Robbins.

“That kind of first-hand personal and professional knowledge and experience represents a tremendous asset and provides AgentHero-affiliated agents with a true competitive advantage,” he continues.

AgentHero real estate agents are associated with more than 20 national real estate brokerage firms, including such well-known names as Keller Williams, RE/MAX, Berkshire Hathaway, Coldwell Banker, Sotheby’s, and Century 21.

In addition, AgentHero agents are affiliated with all branches of military service. Nearly two-thirds are veterans, while the remainder are military spouses. Agents are split almost evenly between men and women.

“As a West Point graduate and Army Veteran, AgentHero’s mission means a lot to me so I am honored to serve on the firm’s Advisory Board,” says Jim Young, CCIM, a highly successful commercial real estate broker and developer in Austin, TX and a Managing Partner of Longbow Real Estate Group, who serves on AgentHero’s Advisory Board.

“AgentHero’s operating principle – a thorough commitment to connecting consumers to the best veteran real estate agents to help them through the home buying or selling process from start to finish – is deceptively simple, yet much needed in today’s residential real estate market,” Young notes.

Beyond their work in establishing the AgentHero network, Robbins and AgentHero Co-Founder and COO Jason Dempsey have become outspoken advocates for the many problems facing veterans and military families, from homelessness and employment challenges to difficulties in buying or selling a home.

Robbins and Dempsey have been featured on SiriusXM twice in recent weeks, discussing such veterans’ issues as needing to sell a home quickly due to reassignment; relocating to a new market and finding both a new home and, in the case of a military spouse, a new job simultaneously; and determining where to live once military service ends.

Robbins adds that veterans and military spouses regularly deal with employment challenges. “It’s often difficult for military spouses to establish their own careers when moving so frequently, or for veterans to find that first job after military service, despite data that indicate they have both the skills and expertise to be highly marketable, highly valuable employees,” he explains.

A portion of all AgentHero proceeds is donated to charities that support U.S. veterans and active-duty military. For more information, visit www.agentherorealty.com/
