REPORTS

MALICIOUS WOUNDING, 2020-05200087, 1500 block of 28th Street S. At approximately 2:35 p.m. on May 20, police were dispatched to the report of dispute between known individuals. Upon arrival, it was determined that the victim and suspect were engaged in a verbal dispute, which escalated and became physical. The suspect allegedly struck the victim multiple times with an object, causing a laceration. Arriving officers located the suspect still in the area and took him into custody without incident. Tuvshinbileg Naranbaatar, 19, of Arlington, Va. was arrested and charged with Malicious Wounding and Brandishing a Machete or 12”+ Bladed Weapon.

BURGLARY, 2020-05200183, 4100 block of Vacation Lane. At approximately 11:11 p.m. on May 20, police were dispatched to the report of a burglary alarm. Prior to police arrival, two suspects were observed on camera inside a building. Arriving officers established a perimeter and observed the suspects exit the building. One suspect was taken into custody, while the second suspect attempted to flee on foot. Officers later located the second suspect nearby and took him into custody without incident. The investigation determined that the suspects allegedly gained entry to the building and damaged multiple areas within the building. Nolan Bateman, 18, of Arlington, Va., and Alexander Peresada, 18, of Arlington, Va., were arrested and charged with Burglary with Intent to Commit Larceny/Assault & Battery/Other Felony, Conspiracy to Commit a Felony, Destruction of Property and Consume/Purchase/Possess Alcohol: <21 Years Old. They were held on no bond.
