Arlington Man Accused Of Stealing Drinks, Food In Courthouse Area
An Arlington man was arrested on charges of robbery and larceny Tuesday after he stole several drinks and food items, police said.

ARLINGTON, VA — An Arlington man was arrested on charges of robbery and larceny Tuesday after he was accused of entering a business in the Courthouse area several times and stealing drinks and food items, according to the Arlington County Police Department.
At about 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, police responded to the report of a man going behind the counter of a business in the 2100 block of N. 15th Street and trying to open a cash register.
After an employee confronted him, the man, Darryl Forrest, 41, walked through the store and stole a beverage and food items before leaving, police said.

Forrest then reentered and exited the business two more times, stealing more beverages and food items, according to police. During his third entry into the business, Forrest attempted to throw a beverage at a witness who approached him, police said.
He then fled the scene on foot but returned a short time later and was taken into custody by Arlington police officers.

Forrest was being held without bail, police said.
