Arlington Health Inspectors Identified Violations At 26 County Restaurants

ARLINGTON, VA — Officials from Arlington County Public Health inspected food preparation and storage businesses in Arlington County. Between Sept. 17-21, officials inspected 35 businesses, of which 26 restaurants were in violation.

Violations noted below — such as the 16 at the MegaMart Express — involve issues that would typically require a re-inspection if not corrected or those that are more likely than other violations to contribute to food contamination.

"In our experience, it is unrealistic to expect that a complex, full-service food operation can routinely avoid any violations," according to Virginia Department of Health's website.
