Arlington Tapas Restaurant Among Best DMV Eateries On New List

ARLINGTON, VA — A longtime Arlington restaurant specializing in serving Spanish cuisine was included in D.C. Eater's 38 Best Restaurants Around D.C. list.

"Eater’s editors, who are constantly eating out and checking in with restaurant industry insiders, compile this list every quarter to update it with the essential restaurants you need to know about in this moment," according to Eater. "As always, we ensure the list includes a diverse range of cuisines, prices, and neighborhoods in the D.C. area.

SER Restaurant, which has been serving tapas at 1110 North Glebe Road in Clarendon for the last 10 years, was one of the 38 restaurants included on Eater's list.

"It’s hard to go wrong with any of the 12-plus tapas on the list, but the tomato bread, croquetas, and deep-fried eggplant are not to miss," Eater wrote. "Seafood, meat, or vegetable paella for two is another excellent choice, and for a dash of drama at the table, go big with a whole roast suckling pig."

The editors recommended SER's Gambas al ajillo, featuring Sautéed Shrimp, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Garlic and Cayenne Pepper, as a "must-try dish." Also, the newly expanded patio was a nice spot to sip sangria.
