Arlington Whole Foods Customers Exposed In Data Breach
Whole Foods Market is warning customers across the nation of an "unauthorized access" of payment card information at their stores.

ARLINGTON, VA — An Arlington Whole Foods Market was one of the stores impacted by a recent security breach, and customers who shopped there may have had their payment card information exposed.
The new store at 520 12th St. South in Pentagon City was listed in the breach, according to a statement from Whole Foods.
"Whole Foods Market recently received information regarding unauthorized access of payment card information used at certain venues such as taprooms and full table-service restaurants located within some stores," the statement reads. "These venues use a different point of sale system than the company’s primary store checkout systems, and payment cards used at the primary store checkout systems were not affected. When Whole Foods Market learned of this, the company launched an investigation, obtained the help of a leading cyber security forensics firm, contacted law enforcement, and is taking appropriate measures to address the issue."
