Bank Robbed at Gunpoint Monday in Arlington: FBI

Incident took place at about noon Monday at a bank on Wilson Boulevard.

A bank was robbed at gunpoint Monday in Arlington, according to the FBI. The suspect is described as a black man between the age of 50 and 60. The suspect in the robbery was wearing a green shirt, a gray zippered hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, sunglasses and a red hat, the FBI said.

The robbery took place at about 11:59 a.m. Monday, when a male subject robbed the HSBC Bank located at 4075 Wilson Blvd. in Arlington (see map), the FBI said. The subject entered the bank, approached the victim teller and displayed a note demanding money and stated that he had a gun, according to the FBI. After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, the subject fled the bank on foot heading north, the FBI said.

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to the identification, arrest and conviction of this bank robber.
