Bank Robbery In Crystal City Investigated By Arlington County Police
A man robbed a Crystal City bank on Monday morning, fleeing with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to police.

ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County Police are investigating a bank robbery that occurred Monday morning in Crystal City.
Officers responded around 11:37 a.m. to the 1400 block of S. Eads Street for the report of an armed robbery. A preliminary investigation determined that a man entered the bank and passed a note to the teller demanding money, according to police. He also implied that he had a weapon.
The man then left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money. At no time did he display a weapon, according to police. No injuries were reported. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect.

The bank was identified as a branch of Bank America located across from Amazon's HQ2 at 1425 S. Eads St., according to ARLNow.
Police described the suspect as a Black man who was about 50-60 years old, standing 6-foot to 6-foot-1 in height, with gray hair. He was wearing a white T-shirt, dark colored pants and glasses and carrying a black backpack.
