Body Discovered in Downtown Rosslyn

Police don't think the death was suspicious, but there was a huge police presence near the Rosslyn Spectrum Theatre Thursday morning.

ARLINGTON, VA — Police flooded downtown Rosslyn Thursday morning after a body was discovered lying on the ground near Rosslyn Spectrum Theatre.

Arlington County Police tweeted at 8:52 a.m. that they were conducting a death investigation in the 1600 block of N. Kent Street, and the death was not considered suspicious.

A photo of the scene shared online shows a body covered in a white sheet lying in the courtyard of an apartment building next to the Rosslyn Spectrum Theatre. Twitter users reported a heavy police presence in the area as police investigated.
