Casual Restaurant Of The Year RAMMY Award Given To Arlington Eatery
Ruthie's All-Day, a family-friendly restaurant and bar in Arlington, is one of the 2022 RAMMY winners for excellence in food service.
ARLINGTON, VA — Ruthie's All-Day, a family-friendly restaurant and bar in Arlington, won a RAMMY award, which are given to businesses and individuals showing excellence in the DC region's food service industry.
Another Arlington restaurant, La Côte d’Or Café, was a recipient of the Honorary Milestone RAMMY Award, given to restaurants with longstanding service to the DC region.
Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington's 40th annual RAMMY award winners were announced at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center Sunday night. The RAMMY awards are given to individuals and businesses demonstrating excellence in the DC region's food service industry. Award categories range from long-standing categories celebrating culinary excellence and pandemic-era categories recognizing the impacts to the food service industry.

Judges decided winners for most of the RAMMY categories, while the public voted on seven categories: Favorite Gathering Place of the Year, Favorite Fast Bites, Best Brunch of the Year, Outstanding Pop-Up Concept, Standout Family Meal Packages To Go, Splendid Holidays at Home and Hottest Sandwich Spot.
Ruthie's All-Day, located just off S. Glebe Rd. between Arlington Blvd. and Columbia Pike, won the RAMMY Award for Casual Restaurant of the Year. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and brunch on weekends.

Earlier this month, Ruthie's All-Day also was lauded for its outdoor dining spaces, cracking the Top 100 list compiled by OpenTable.
The Honorary Milestone RAMMY Awards are given in addition to the judge-voted and public-voted awards.
La Côte d'Or Café, at 6876 Langston Boulevard in Arlington, was honored for its 30th anniversary. The restaurant serves Nouvelle French cuisine by Chef Jacques Imperato, who went to culinary school in Nice, France and worked at several French fine dining restaurants.
RAMMY awards are open to members of the Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington, but publicly voted categories were open to any food service business in the DC region.
