That brings his 2026 contribution total to $31,800.51.

Among his largest contributors were the IBEW PAC Voluntary Fund, which gave $5,000 in February, and Leadership for Educational Equity, which contributed $2,500 in June and another $2,500 in July.

Mark Fiumara contributed $2,000 in January and another $2,000 in May.

De Ferranti also loaned his campaign $5,000 on July 17. That loan is separate from the contribution total and remained outstanding as of Aug. 31.

His committee entered 2026 with $19,891.25 carried over from the previous year.

The campaign reported substantial spending over the summer. A July filing included a $22,500 payment to Wonderland Strategies for printing two campaign pieces and $2,581 in digital advertising payments to Foundation Blue.

During the July 24-Aug. 31 period, the campaign spent another $10,775.48. Those expenditures included $4,771 in digital advertising payments to Foundation Blue, $1,040 for yard signs, $1,000 for consulting and $950 for campaign cards.

The committee reported $603.12 in cash on hand as of Aug. 31 and the outstanding $5,000 candidate loan.

De Ferranti's summer spending spree is not surprising, since he was running against Julie Farnam and James DeVita in the Aug. 4 Democratic Party Primary. He defeated the two challengers by garnering 55% of the votes cast.

Clement Finances Most Of Her Campaign

Clement reported $10,098.37 in contributions through Aug. 31.

Her campaign began the year with $3,848.37 in contributions during the first quarter, followed by $2,100 from April through June, $2,150 from July 1-23 and $2,000 during the July 24-Aug. 31 reporting period.

Clement herself supplied $9,398.37 of the total, or about 93 percent of her campaign's contributions.

Her other reported contributors included James Hurysz, who gave $200, and Natalie Lord, who contributed $200. Her reports also listed $300 in unitemized contributions of $100 or less.

The campaign separately reported a $172.85 reimbursement for personal expenses during the April-June reporting period. Because the payment was reported as a refunded expenditure rather than a contribution, it is not included in the $10,098.37 fundraising total.

Clement's campaign reported $6,405.26 in cumulative expenditures through Aug. 31. Among the expenses were $1,100 for yard signs, $550 for advertising with Local News Now, and payments for printing, online advertising, email service and canvassing.

Her committee finished August with $3,865.96 in cash on hand and reported no outstanding loans or unpaid debts.

Sisson Reports Nearly $2,924

Sisson's campaign reported $2,923.70 in contributions through Aug. 31.

His first campaign finance report, covering April 3 through June 30, showed $2,710.84 in contributions.

The campaign reported no contributions from July 1 through July 23, followed by $212.86 in contributions during the July 24-Aug. 31 reporting period.

That latest filing included a $173.71 contribution from Deanna Saah and three unitemized contributions totaling $39.15.

Earlier contributors included Edwin Sisson, who gave $399; Donna Sisson, who contributed $397.05; Bryan Vogel, who gave $336.88; and Sisson himself, who contributed $300.

His campaign spent $1,624.89 during the July 24-Aug. 31 period, including $734.14 for yard signs, $364.42 for campaign mailers, $254.71 for door-hanger materials and other payments for campaign flyers and services.

Sisson's committee reported $1,906.06 in cumulative expenditures and $1,022.64 in cash on hand as of Aug. 31. Report_CC-26-00209_07-24-2026_t…

The campaign's election-cycle receipts totaled $2,928.70, but that figure includes a $5 cash-back reward from the payment processor Stripe, which was reported separately from contributions. Patch excluded that payment from the fundraising total.
