Doc Walker's Networking Event Draws Hundreds
Front Page Arlington was the place to be for professional networking Wednesday night.
Hundreds of professionals came out to Doc Walker's ProView networking event at Wednesday night.
Local businesses set up booths and tables to show off their goods, while other professionals browsed and mingled their way through Front Page just outside in the atrium at the .
Wednesday marked ProView's 62nd networking event and Rick "Doc" Walker told Patch that these events are meant to "add value" to ProView clients. These events are a proven way to make their clients more successful and market their businesses to other professionals, he said.

ProView Executive Producer Mike Byrd introduced 1984 Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee Charley Taylor to the crowd. Taylor was promoting Jaxsen's deep soothing herbal relief for muscle and joint pain. Taylor joked with Patch, "You won't find anything better than this. It's the best. You can call me if it's not the best."
Professional organizer Carly Poppalardo, owner of and author of was among the professionals in the atrium.

"It was great meeting and networking with so many professional and well-connected people," Poppalardo said. "I met so many new contacts I actually ran out of business cards!"
Sue and Craig Richey of Richey Property Management in Reston also said they enjoyed meeting so many new people and telling them about property management.
Beauty guru Jody Maki styled a group of models for a "New York-style, runway fashion show." The models showed off distressed denim, bright colors and layering as spring fashions.
The next ProView networking event is 7 to 10 p.m. April 25 at Rivers at the Watergate in Washington, D.C.
