Donald Trump is Coming Back to Roanoke ... Where He Slammed a Local Business in July

Trump called former Virginia Gov. Tim Kaine a "weird little dude" when he was last here.

ROANOKE, VA — Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump is returning to Roanoke on Saturday after visiting in July, and for at least one hotel there, he'll be persona non grata.

Trump slammed Hotel Roanoke and Conference Center during a rally there in late July after he said that his event wasn't getting proper air conditioning. He even threatened not to pay his bill, prompting the hotel to fire back, saying it had done all it could.

Trump won't have to worry about tangling with them this time around, as he'll be speaking at the Berglund Center at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 24. Doors open at 3 p.m.
