Family Trip to Rhode Island Ends in Fatal Car Crash for Arlington Resident
Tiffany Joslyn was riding in a car with her brother and his wife when they were struck on Interstate 95.

An Arlington resident's trip to Rhode Island with her brother and his wife ended in tragedy after a fatal crash on Interstate 95 over the weekend.
Police say that 33-year-old Tiffany Joslyn of Arlington and her 28-year-old brother Derrick Joslyn of Cumberland died after a car collided with them in the high-speed lane and sent their vehicle tumbling over the barrier and into oncoming traffic, according to a Rhode Island State Police statement. Jillian Joslyn, the 27-year-old wife of Derrick Joslyn who was driving the car, survived the crash.
The crash happened at 4:23 p.m. on Saturday in the city of Pawtucket. Police say the silver Toyota the Joslyns were riding in was in the high-speed lane when a blue Toyota that was in the center lane tried to merge into the high-speed lane, colliding with the silver Toyota and causing it to strike the jersey barrier in the center median. The silver Toyota then rolled over into the northbound lanes, where a white Chevrolet van struck it. The blue Toyota collided with the median, police said.
