Fight At Arlington Intersection Leads To Injuries, Broken Glasses

ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County Police are investigating a dispute between two men at an intersection near National Airport on Tuesday that left one of the participants with injuries and broken glasses.

Officers responded around 2:55 p.m., to the 3600 block of S. Glebe Road, for the report of a robbery by force, according to police.

A preliminary investigation revealed that two men who were driving their vehicles began to argue at the intersection of Crystal Drive and Potomac Avenue. After both men parked, they started brawling until one of the men struck the other with an unknown object, according to police. The blow caused a laceration on the victim.

The suspect then damaged the victim’s glasses, took his electronics and drove off in a gray Toyota Camry, police say. The victim had suffered minor injuries, but he chose not to be taken to the hospital for treatment.

Police described the suspect as a 28-year-old man with short black hair. He was about 5-foot-9 in height and weighed 180-190 pounds, according to the incident report.
