Fill The Truck Event Planned To Aid Homeless Arlington Families
Two Arlington organizations are hosting a Fill the Truck event to collect household items for families moving from shelters into new homes.
ARLINGTON, VA — Two Arlington organizations have teamed up to collect household items for welcome baskets to be given to families leaving shelters and moving into new homes.
The Northern Virginia Apartment Association (NVAA) and New Hope Housing, a local nonprofit helping homeless families find a place to live, are hosting a Fill the Truck donation drive on Sept. 22
Members of the public are encouraged to help fill a large truck with kitchen, bathroom and bedroom items on Wednesday, Sept. 22, from 3-6 p.m., at Library Courts Apartments, 1040 N. Quincy St., Suite 100, in Arlington.

For those who can't make it out to the Library Courts Apartments on Sept. 22, donations will also be accepted from New Hope Housing's Amazon wish list.
