Garbage Truck Erupts In Flames In Arlington (Photos)
The incident happened early Tuesday afternoon in the Penrose neighborhood.

ARLINGTON, VA -- Firefighters scrambled into action after a garbage truck caught fire in the Penrose neighborhood of Arlington early Tuesday afternoon.
The incident happened at the intersection of 2nd St S and S Wayne St. The fire has been put out and hazmat teams are containing run-off, the Arlington County Fire Department tweeted shortly before 1 p.m. You can view photos below.
Authorities expect the intersection to remain closed for two hours.
