Good Friday

Join Emmanuel Presbyterian Church and Little Falls Presbyterian Church for a special Good Friday service on Friday, March 25. We will have a combined worship service at 6025 Little Falls Rd, Arlington. Because this is the day Christ died for us, the service will have a solemn tone, helping us to remember how Jesus suffered for us, and how the disciples had lost all hope. It’s called the Tenebrae service, which comes from the Latin word for “darkness.” Following an ancient pattern of Christian worship for a Good Friday service, candles will be gradually extinguished, while we reflect on each of the seven last words of Jesus on the cross.
