Some customers have already jumped onto Yelp, with some posting reviews from a “pre-opening” night.
Here’s a Facebook message from the owner:
Aloha Hulas!!!
So much mahalo for coming in last night - it was so appreciated! Sorry if some of you had to wait, or we ran out of certain items - but, we are doing our best to serve everyone...and we did get a little crushed last night!! There are some folks that have already gotten onto Yelp and posted some really nice reviews....and a few very nasty ones (one even calling me a hack) I may not have everything on the menu that you expect to be there right at the opening day. All I can say as the owner/chef - is that we are working on so many of these items and will integrate them as I see fit. I won’t have a huge menu like a Cheesecake Factory to include every single dish that you grew up with or tasted in Hawaii. All I can do is to work with my crew to get better and better everyday - thank you all for your support - and I look forward to seeing you in the next few days and the new few weeks...mahalo!
