Man With Knife Robs Rosslyn Store, Steals Employee's Car: Police
Arlington County police say a man robbed a Rosslyn store at knifepoint before escaping in an employee's car on Thursday morning.
ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County police are looking for a man they say robbed a Rosslyn store at knifepoint and drove off with an employee's vehicle early Thursday morning.
Officers we summoned just before 5:30 a.m. to investigate a robbery at a store in the 1600 block of Wilson Boulevard.
"Upon arrival, it was determined the male suspect entered the business, went behind the counter and threatened an employee with a knife," according to the incident report. "The suspect stole cigarettes, an undisclosed amount of coins and the employee’s car keys. He then demanded cash from the register, exited the store with the stolen items, stole the employee’s vehicle from the parking lot outside the store and fled the scene. No injuries were reported."

A lookout was broadcast and police searched the area, but they were unable to locate the suspect.
Police described the suspect as a Black man in his 20s, who was about 5-foot-2 in height. He was wearing a black jacket, gray hoodie, blue jeans and back jeans.

The stolen vehicle is a gray 2019 Toyota Camry with Virginia tags: UWM5748.
