ARLINGTON, VA -- A D.C. man faces a litany of charges after he smashed up a store in Arlington and was then caught with a stolen vehicle, police say.
Police were called to the 200 block of S. Glebe Road at around 11:40 p.m. on Oct. 26 to a report of a robbery by force, and discovered that a man had caused extensive damage inside the store, according to a report from the Arlington County Police Department.
The man had been in the business twice before and had purchased items before returning to his vehicle outside, but on the third time when he came in, he "began causing a disturbance inside the business, damaging displays, and took merchandise and coins and placed them into his pockets," the report states.
