Metro Police: Contractor Arrested in Copper Theft
Transit police allege there were two incidents at a Rosslyn construction site.

Metro Transit Police has arrested a contractor, claiming he stole copper wire and tubing from a Rosslyn site last fall.
Daniel Alan Groseclose, 42, of Edgewater, Md., is charged with grand larceny.

Police allege, on two occasions last fall, Groseclose allegedly stole sections of copper wire and tubing.
Groseclose worked as an employee for KONE, which is responsible for maintenance of selected escalators and elevators on the Metrorail system, according to a Metro release.

Anne Arundel County Police arrested Groseclose on MTPD’s arrest warrant in Virginia. He is expected to face two counts of grand larceny once extradited to Arlington County.
