The point: Just because everyone else is doing something doesn’t mean you should. Don’t be afraid to choose your own path.
Lesson for marketing: Originality is crucial to being a market leader. Don’t be a trend watcher; be a trendsetter!
Momism #3: Because I said so.
The point: My word is good enough.
Lesson for marketing: Become an expert. Build a reputation of trust with clients and their target audiences. Make sure your clients know they can rely on your judgment.
Momism #4: You can do anything you put your mind to.
The point: The possibilities are only limited by what you can dream and are willing to work for.
Lesson for marketing: Marketing is a tough business. This philosophy can get you through setbacks, bumps in the road, and all-out failures.
And finally, Momism #5: Wear clean underwear, in case you’re in an accident.
The point: Always be prepared. Plan ahead.
Lesson for marketing: Always have a Plan B. Prepare for all contingencies. Be able to tweak your campaign based on real-time results.
