Motorcyclist Killed, 1 Injured In I-395 Crash In Arlington County

State police said three motorcyclists were driving south on Interstate 395 when they were struck from behind by an SUV.

ARLINGTON COUNTY, VA — A motorcyclist was killed and another was seriously injured in an early morning crash on Interstate 395 in Arlington, authorities said.

A spokesperson for the Virginia State Police said three motorcycles were traveling south on I-395 when all three were struck from behind by an SUV. Police said the crash occurred near the Route 27 exit.

Police said two of three motorcyclists were taken to the hospital. One died from his injuries, authorities said, while the other is still being treated.

The third motorcyclist and the driver of the SUV were uninjured, police said.

Charges related to the crash are pending, police said. The crash remains under investigation.
