Opening for 4 year old at Faith Lutheran Preschool

Faith Lutheran Preschool is an absolutely fantastic Reggio Emilia school, located south of Clarendon, in the Ashton Heights neighborhood, at N. Jackson St and Rte 50/N. 1st Street, near Lyon Park. The best things about the school are the Teachers, the Parent Community, and the child-directed nature of the Reggio program. One of our alum parents wrote, “At 4, our son “graduated” with the ability to write, count, and finally even draw a self portrait, but most of all at that age, learned great lessons about social situations and friendships. I also love their Outdoor Classroom, complete with mudkitchen, story tellers circle, outdoor art center, garden, etc. It is a warm, welcoming community and a simply fantastic prep for Kindergarten.” As an aside, this is also a great fit for a child who may need s third year of preschool with a late birthday, whether this year or next!

The hours for the 4+ year old class are 9:15am - 12:50pm, Tuesday through Friday, with a before school care program, and they’ll be starting up some after school programs this year, as well.
