• 🤩 Clarendon Day! Returns Saturday, September 26th 🌟 (arlnow.com subscription) — Clarendon is gearing up to host its big Clarendon Day street festival on Saturday, Sept. 26, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., right around the Metro station. You'll find live music, dancing, a beer and wine garden, kids activities, and more than 150 vendors showcasing Arlington's artists, makers, restaurants, and small businesses, all in one of the county's most walkable neighborhoods.
   

• Arlington County Board directs removal of Flock Safety cameras (wusa9.com) — Arlington County is ending its use of Flock Safety cameras, directing the County Manager to remove 41 devices from public property and delete unneeded data. Officials say resident concerns drove the move, and a public update on the removal timeline will come at the Sept. 22 recessed County Board meeting.
   

• Bechtel to Address U.S. Nuclear Cleanup at 2026 Workshop (constructionowners.com) — Arlington will host the 2026 National Cleanup Workshop at the Crystal Gateway Marriott from Sept. 14–16, bringing more than 750 federal, industry, and community stakeholders to town. Bechtel leaders will speak on nuclear waste treatment, disposal operations, and project leadership as the Department of Energy's nationwide cleanup program is reviewed, putting a major technical policy gathering right in Arlington's hotel district.
