Pet Of The Week: Amy Is An Active Senior Who Loves To Be Loved

ARLINGTON, VA — Amy is a buff-colored domestic shorthair cat looking for someone she can love.

Here's what her foster dad told the Animal Welfare League of Arlington:

“This seriously sweet super-senior is looking for a relaxed home where she can live out her golden years enjoying window views and lots of love and affection from someone special. Amy is spry and could easily fool you to think she is ten years younger than she actually is. She enjoys playtime and toys, and has no issue hopping up onto a sofa or chair for snuggles and craves to be held and petted in the evenings. She simply loves to be loved.”

A perfect day for Amy includes "snoozes and scratches, nap-time and nuzzling" and taking strolls around the house. She loves soft and warm blankets or pillows and likes to watch the bird or play with wand and spring cat toys.
