Animal Welfare League of Arlington would like to introduce you to a sweet snuggle bug who loves people and kids.

Hambone is a lovable dog who's looking for someone to go on long walks and maybe toss around some soft, squeeky tennis balls.

ARLINGTON, VA — Hambone is a large tan, mixed breed dog who's living with a foster family associated with the Animal Welfare League of Arlington.

Hambone is an incredibly sweet, lovable couch potato/goof ball/snuggle bug," the foster family told AWLA. "He loves people and kids, and will shamelessly lick anyone in the face if he can! He loves snuggles, belly rubs, toys, fetch, and playing with other dogs. He's potty trained, knows sit and stay, and walks pretty well on a leash. He loves being near people and is a bit of a Velcro dog, but has been totally fine when left home alone uncrated. He's surprisingly short for his size (18″ from his shoulder to the floor), so isn't a good counter-surfer.”

An AWLA volunteer called Hambone a sweetheart who loves soft toys and tennis balls. He's been known to carry a toy with him on long walks, just in case he gets a chance to play.
