Pet Of The Week: Jasper Is A Southern Gentleman From Texas

ARLINGTON, VA — Jasper is a lovable, tasing southern gentleman who came to the Animal Welfare League all the way from Texas. This large, mixed-breed dog is relaxed, easy-going and friendly.

Here's what AWLA had to say about him:

"Jasper lights up around food (especially if it's peanut butter or spray-cheese) and loves playtime. He's very much a 'best of both worlds' kind of dog in the sense that he can be playful and active but also settles nicely when it's time to relax. Jasper loves to snuggle with his people and has even been known to try and sit on your lap (no, he does not consider himself too big to be a lap dog!). He has a big head, a big heart, and a big personality that would make any adopter lucky to have him.'
