Pet Of The Week: Sissy Is Waiting To Have Fun With You
Six-year-old Sissy is so ready to find a family of her own.
ARLINGTON, VA — Sissy is the perfect pal, happy to join you for adventures, but also just as happy to nap with you on the couch. Whatever you want to do — or not do — she's there.
Six-year-old Sissy was transferred to our shelter from a rescue partner in West Virginia. They told us she had been given up by her owner because she wouldn't hunt. We think she's much happier to be living city life.
Sissy has spent the past few weeks in a foster home, and as much as she loves it, she is so ready to find a family of her own. Her foster family told us: "She just wants to be by your side, whether that be on car rides, hikes (she loves rock scrambling at Great Falls), walks, or just binging TV (she's a fan of car shows). She is very sweet and gentle, and never barks! She can be a little shy, but always wants to make friends while out on her walks, especially with other four-legged friends.
