Thunderstorms rolled through Northern Virginia Monday night beginning at about 7 p.m. and many residents snapped photos of the ominous skies.
The entire area was under a Tornado Watch until 10 p.m. and parts of the area under a Thunderstorm Warning from about 7 to 8:30 p.m. The area saw high winds, hail and thunder and lightning.

Nearly 800 homes in Arlington were without power as of 10 p.m. Monday.
