Piano & More celebrated the success of its 10th Spring Recital on June 13, 2026, with a new style and an upgraded event experience for students, families, and teachers.

Students performed during their teacher’s assigned recital time slot, giving each group a chance to take the stage and share their music with family and friends.

Piano & More, an in-home music lesson school serving families in Arlington, Falls Church, and McLean, used this year’s recital to create a larger and more memorable experience for its student performers. The school offers in-home piano lessons, guitar lessons, and voice lessons for students and families across Northern Virginia.

This year’s recital looked and felt different from previous years. To celebrate the milestone, Piano & More added several new features designed to make the day more exciting, organized, and meaningful for students.

Students perform at Piano & More’s 10th Spring Recital, featuring a new stage setup, “Meet the Musician” screen, and upgraded event experience.

One of the biggest changes was the larger event venue. The bigger space allowed families to gather comfortably throughout the day and gave students a more elevated stage experience.

A large screen on stage was also added for the first time. During the recital, the screen featured “Meet the Musician” slides with details about each student performer. A welcome recital video also played as part of the event, helping create a more polished and personal recital experience.

Piano & More also added a reward ceremony this year. Every performer received a custom medal to recognize their hard work and accomplishment. The school wanted students to have something physical to hold, wear, and take home as a reminder of what they achieved on stage. The medals also created a meaningful photo opportunity for students and families with their music teachers.

Piano & More added a Games corner to the 10th Spring Recital, giving students a fun activity to enjoy after performing.

In addition to performances and awards, the event included several new activity areas for students and families. A Refreshments corner offered food and drinks for performers and guests. A Prize Shop was open for Piano & More students who brought their Piano Bucks to exchange for rewards. A Games corner also gave students a chance to enjoy the Candy String Game before or after their performance.

The upgrades helped turn the recital into more than a performance day. It became a full celebration of student progress, confidence, and community.
