Police Charge Man With Robbing Bank In Courthouse Area

Arlington County Police arrested a man they say robbed a bank in the Courthouse area of an undisclosed amount of money.

ARLINGTON, VA -- Arlington County Police arrested a man in connection with a bank robbery that occurred Monday morning in the Courthouse area.

On Dec. 30, at 11:19 a.m., police responded to the report of a bank robbery in the 2200 block of Wilson Boulevard.

"The suspect entered the bank, passed the teller a note demanding cash and implying a weapon," said Ashley Savage, ACPD public information officer. "He fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash,"

Upon arriving on the scene, officers began searching in the vicinity of the bank for the suspect. A short time later they located a man who matched the description of the suspect at the Courthouse Metro Station.

Police took Derrick Graham, 42, of no fixed address, into custody and charged him with robbery.
