Police: Intoxicated Kissing Bandit Strikes in Uber Car Incident
Driver resisted passenger's smooch, he assaulted her, stole her phone, police say. Suspect tried to kick out police car window, police say.

It’s not every day you hear about someone trying to kiss a cab driver.
Arlington County Police say that an intoxicated man attempted to kiss the driver of an Uber car service Saturday night in the 2200 block of S. Garfield St. in Arlington.
When she resisted, he assaulted her and prevented her from calling police, police noted in a crime report released this week.

The subject stole her phone and left it on the front steps of his residence which was recovered by a witness, according to Arlington County Police. Police took the suspect into custody at his residence and he attempted to kick out the rear window of the police cruiser during transport, police say.
Richard Hilliard, 31, of Arlington, was charged with robbery, preventing a 911 call and attempted destruction of property, according to Arlington County Police. He was held without bond, police said.
